Saturday
Breakfast is served… You’ll need it! You’ll have three hours of lessons beginning at 10am, then after a spot of lunch, there’s a little bit of free time to either practice your dancing, indulge in a choice of tasters, or take a stroll and enjoy the beauty that Torquay has to offer!
From 5:30pm, our evening Gala Dinner is served in the restaurant. The Big Band will then be waiting to amaze you with their formidable energy and sense of musicality, and you can dance the night away on the 1800 square foot sprung maple dance floor. If you’d like to put on your vintage finery for the evening, it’s very much encouraged.
For all those who can manage it, we’ll go on late with jazz, blues, funk, soul and disco all served up in the ballroom with a few cocktails to top off a great day. Don’t go to bed early, this party will go on until the small hours.
Sunday
Breakfast is served (a little later than usual…!) More lessons from 11am followed by a delicious Afternoon Tea, with all the cream cakes you can scoff, then we’ll finish the weekend with a tea dance from 3:30, so you can practise your new moves and routines! There will be more Swinging tunes from 4:00pm from our final band of the weekend (Just Misbehavin’) with our resident DJs playing into the evening.
